HR Administrator (A Windows and Doors company)
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrator to support our growing team. This role plays a key part in employee and subcontractor onboarding and off-boarding, benefits administration, training coordination, and providing administrative support across departments. The ideal candidate is proactive, responsive, and comfortable handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Employee & Subcontractor Onboarding and Off-boarding
- Facilitate the full onboarding and off-boarding process for employees and subcontractors
- Coordinate with hiring managers to ensure all tools, access, and documentation are prepared before start dates
- Create credentials and system access across applicable platforms
- Conduct first-day onboarding, including assigned training, policy review, and document collection
- Scan, organize, and maintain personnel files in electronic folders
- Manage termination processes and maintain accurate records
Benefits Administration
- Administer employee benefits programs, including Health, RRSP, Gym, and other company offerings
- Enroll new employees in benefit platforms and provide benefit documentation and drug cards
- Manage benefit changes such as terminations, holds, and reinstatements
Employee Training & Development
- Coordinate and administer employee training plans across all available platforms
- Assign courses and track training completion
- Participate in ongoing company training and professional development initiatives
Administrative & Operational Support
- Maintain accurate employee and subcontractor databases
- Manage employee and subcontractor calendars in Market Sharp
- Assist with administrative tasks related to the GreenFox Fleet program
- Provide administrative support to the Accounting department as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an HR administrative or office support role preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
- Comfortable working with multiple systems and platforms
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
