Residential Renovation Project Manager

Location: Vaughan, ON, with travel throughout the Greater Toronto Area

Transform Spaces. Elevate Lives. Build Work You're Proud Of.

We don't just renovate houses; we change lives. We are a full-service design-build renovation company with over 25 years of experience helping homeowners transform the homes they love. Our vision is simple: Transforming Spaces, Elevating Lives. We are looking for people who want to be more than employees; people who want to make a meaningful impact through excellent planning, craftsmanship, communication, and care.

We are looking for an experienced Residential Renovation Project Manager to oversee multiple mid-to-large home renovation projects from pre-construction through completion. This role is ideal for someone who understands the fast-moving world of residential remodeling, can lead internal crews and Crew Leaders, and knows how to keep projects on schedule, on budget, and aligned with our standards.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who enjoys building both projects and systems. You will not only manage renovations, but you will help shape how SOSNA delivers work, supports Crew Leaders, improves processes, and prepares for the next stage of growth.  The right person will be comfortable in the office, on-site, with homeowners, with trades, and with internal crews. The PM role is responsible for overseeing 3-6 construction projects while maintaining deadlines, budgets, client satisfaction, and a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee 3-6 active residential renovation projects at a time.
  • Support Crew Leaders and field crews so projects are completed on time, on budget, and to our standards.
  • Visit each job site at least weekly and complete project audits.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, designers, Site Leaders, trades, and the construction team.
  • Review schedules, budgets, job costing, 3-week lookaheads, and project progress.
  • Coordinate inspections, specialty material orders, trades, and project resources.
  • Identify problems early and create calm, practical solutions before they affect the schedule or budget.
  • Build and improve systems, checklists, SOPs, and workflows that help the company scale.
  • Train, coach, and support carpenters, helpers, and Crew Leaders.
  • Protect company profit targets through efficient labour planning and strong project control.
  • Ensure punch list items, closeout procedures, and client expectations are handled professionally.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant residential renovation/remodeling experience preferred.
  • Strong experience managing mid-to-large home renovations, ideally in the $100K-$400K project range.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple active projects at once.
  • Deep understanding of residential construction phases, scheduling, building systems, and Canadian homes.
  • Experience leading internal crews, not only subcontractors.
  • Strong communication skills with homeowners, employees, trades, designers, and leadership.
  • Highly organized, punctual, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Calm under pressure and able to handle stressful situations professionally.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate issues before they become costly.
  • Comfortable with spreadsheets, calendars, email, project management software, and modern technology.
  • Ability to create or improve systems, templates, procedures, and reporting tools.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
  • Fluent English required.

  • Pay: CA$85,000-CA$100,000 per year, depending on experience and competency.
  • Vehicle allowance or reimbursed vehicle expenses provided according to company policy.
  • Paid travel expenses.

  • Opportunity to grow into a future Construction Manager role.
  • Monday to Friday daytime schedule.
