What You'll Do:
- Advanced Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex desktop, server, network, and application issues.
- Ticket Ownership: Take ownership of tickets from intake through resolution, ensuring timely updates and clear documentation.
- User Support: Provide professional remote support for end users with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Systems Administration: Manage and support Windows & Mac environments including Microsoft 365, RMM, and security management tools.
- Network Support: Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and printer-related issues.
- Security Response: Respond to security alerts, phishing incidents, and endpoint threats following established procedures.
- Root Cause Analysis: Identify recurring issues and implement permanent fixes to reduce repeat tickets.
- Escalation Management: Collaborate with senior engineers when issues exceed scope, providing thorough diagnostics and context.
- Process Adherence: Follow and improve internal SOPs, documentation standards, and client-specific procedures.
- Client Communication: Clearly explain issues, resolutions, and preventative steps in non-technical language.
- Mentorship: Support and guide Level 1 technicians through troubleshooting and best practices.
- Tool Utilization: Use RMM, PSA, documentation platforms, and monitoring tools effectively and consistently.
- Change Management: Assist with system changes, upgrades, and maintenance while minimizing risk and downtime.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets technical standards, security requirements, and client expectations.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current on technologies, tools, and threats relevant to managed IT environments.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum of 2 year of previous experience in a tech-related role(example: IT Support, Software Developer, Systems Analyst).
- Candidates must be fluent in English (C1 level), with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proven experience in an administrative, marketing, or client support role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfort with technology and a willingness to learn basic troubleshooting.
- Experience writing blog posts and managing social media accounts is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized in a dynamic environment.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for virtual meetings.
